Chris joined Sedgewickville Fire Protection District on June 26, 2019.

Chris discovered his passion for serving as a First Responder when he was first invited to join the team. The more training he received, the more he realized how much he wanted to be involved and make a difference in his community.

Born and raised in Western New York, Chris spent the first 21 years of his life there before moving to Missouri in 2009. He now calls the Sedgewickville area home.

Chris’s family is central to his life. He and his wife share five children, all of whom have a fascination with fire apparatuses and love seeing the team in action.

When he’s not responding to emergencies, Chris enjoys spending his leisure time outdoors, especially camping during the summer and participating in other outdoor activities.

What Chris loves most about being a First Responder is the variety and challenge of each situation, along with the opportunity to help and serve his community in meaningful ways.
